Rare Ibe Dahlquist Sterling Silver & Fossil Ring for Debe Form, Malmö Sweden 1966

A truly rare collector's piece — a Sterling Silver and Fossil Ring designed by the celebrated Swedish silversmith Ibe Dahlquist (Inga-Britt Dahlquist) for Debe Form, Malmö in 1966. With its organic fossil centerpiece and refined modernist form, this ring is a museum-worthy example of mid-century Scandinavian jewelry at its finest.

Inga-Britt Dahlquist (1924–1996) was a pioneering Swedish silversmith and jewelry designer. After graduating from Stockholm's Konstfackskolan in 1955, she co-opened a workshop in Visby with Olof Barve, creating nature-inspired rings and necklaces. In 1965, Dahlquist joined Georg Jensen, gaining international acclaim for modernist designs that blended Scandinavian nature motifs with classical elegance. Though she died at age 42, her influential legacy lives on — her work is represented in both the Nationalmuseum in Stockholm and the British Museum in London.
